Felt: Kit Key chain

The materials are from felt kit I bought from a DIY shop, I just need to prepare a pair of scissors and I can start making the key chain.

There was a  small glue stick given in the pack but I did not use it. For those who wants to know how to melt the glue stick, you can easily get a candle or lighter and heat it up. It is so tiny, so when you heat up the glue stick, please be careful. I had substitute the glue stick with UHU brand glue, it works well too~

Feel free to drop me message if you have any question about this picture tutorial.

Happy sewing~

Natural Toy: Fish

This was a very good idea for natural play, you can make one at home too~
This idea was presented by a Chinese Waldorf practitioner
she had made a lot of nature toy out from branches.

This nature toy creator basically make her toys from the tree trunk near her house.
Those unwanted branches after tree trimming were fully utilised :)

Recycle: Luggage Tag

Today we going to discuss how to make a recycle travel tag/luggage tag from recycle card holder.

Sometime when we purchase certain products, we tend to get a simple two sided card holder and normally we dunno what to do with it. Let's look at the tutorial here.

What you need to prepare are:
  1. Card holder which to be re-purpose
  2. Paper, images from magazine, cloth (yeah, you can use cloth too)
  3. Glue
  4. ribbon or string
  5. sew machine

Felt: Needle Book

At all times when i do my craft, I always have the needles every where. I know this is not a good practice but I cant help. Finally I make up my mind to make myself a needle book and resolve the issue. Now my needles have a home :)

Make a needle book is not a huge project. It can be as simple as making a name card holder. The main differences are, you need to add on few more felt pieces in between to make it a book~

Get yourself ready with:

*Matching button
*Coordinating felt for pages
*Scissors
*Matching thread
*Sewing machine
*Additional felt for embellishing cover
*Fabric glue for embellishments (optional)
